Snow Creek Falls is a captivating natural retreat nestled in the dense forests near Bonners Ferry, Idaho. The Drive

16 miles from Bonners Ferry on gravel roads, ending at a roadside pullout and marked trail system. Please respect the adjacent property.

The Hike

A 0.5-mile path leads to the lower falls, with an additional 0.3-mile trail that loops around to the upper falls, each offering distinct views.

The Falls

The lower and upper falls plunge 25 feet and 35 feet, respectively, into scenic emerald pools framed by forest. Especially impressive during the spring runoff in May and June.

Don’t Forget

Consider micro spikes in winter. The trail exists thanks to a private landowner’s partnership with the NFS, a reminder of the value of respecting and preserving natural treasures.
